And so I watch Shame on a Monday night…
I will begin by saying that if eye contact makes you uncomfortable (as it does me) than seriously contemplate watching this movie. To be honest, the eye contact scenes gave me more anxiety than any of the sex scenes (though, that might just be me). Okay. So aside from the angst this movie caused me, I really loved the story and ideas behind it.The acting was incredible and genuine. At times, I was terrified of Michael Fassbender’s character and found myself tensing up as he did. I was both fascinated and horrified, exactly what I looked for when beginning this movie.
